Emily is a New York-based illustrator who grew up on the California coast. She earned her BFA in Art & Design from the University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design. Her work has appeared in exhibitions with Greenpoint Art Circle, Light Grey Art Lab, Creal Microgallery, and the Stamps Gallery, as well as publications including Xylem Literary Magazine and NYC Zine Club’s Pest Zine.

She has also been a graphic designer for groups such as University of Michigan Museum of Art, Ypsiwrites, and Melville House Publishing, where she designed a variety of adult trade books including The Deal Goes Down, Jamie MacGillivray, and Sidle Creek. She currently works as a production manager for children’s books.

Her artwork tends to blur the lines between everyday discomfort, mundane anxieties, and the genuinely surreal and strange—using comics, storytelling, surrealism, and sometimes humor. She’s also big fan of horror, video games, and plants.
